Will it glow under blacklight?
John Poppleton replied:
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, it won't glow under black light. Fine Art America doesn't offer that option yet. It was just painted and photographed under black light.

John, I have always been fascinated with Blacklights and I had the idea of using Blacklight paint and using a body as a canvas but after Googling, I saw it had been done long before I thought of it and then I saw your work. I thought about quitting right then. I can only aspire to be on the same planet as you. Great Work!

Thanks so much for all the compliments, Keenan! You should still do it just for the fun of it if nothing else. And, just because I've done it doesn't mean it couldn't be improved upon. I've had so much fun in the black light over the past 11 years but I'm finally starting to get burned out. Plus, spending thousands of hours in the UV has worn my eyes out. It's time for someone else to take over :)
